Must be owner or lessee of property located in a commercially zoned area of Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon or Somerset County

Size:

$2,500 to $20,000 – up to 100 percent of project costs

Interest Rate:

4.0% – 7.75%

Term:

Up to 60 months

Use:

Building renovation including:  painting, awnings, signage, roof, windows, doors, etc.  Improvements must be consistent with all local/municipal requirements and architectural themes

Underwriting:

Will be evaluated based on a risk rating matrix; Property taxes must be current

Collateral:

Mortgage and/or other appropriate collateral

Guarantor(s):

Required owner personal guaranty; additional outside guarantors may be required.

The Commercial Façade Improvement Fund will fund property owners who are interested in making improvements to the exterior of their commercial buildings.  All applicants will be required to complete an application, including details of any planned improvements, along with specifications and bids.
